There’s a point in every movement where talk has to turn into action. For us at Ndeipi, that moment is now. We’re not waiting for someone to come and “save” Africa. Nobody is coming. It will take Africans—and friends of Africa—to save Africa. That’s why we’re taking bold steps to build the infrastructure that will shape the next era of African prosperity.
This week marks a turning point. We’re setting up the Ndeipi Foundation in Bermuda. This isn’t just another corporate structure. This is a base of operations to accelerate everything we’ve been building—banking, insurance, and a fully regulated crypto exchange—all in one place.
Why Bermuda?
When I went to Consensus in Toronto a few months ago, I met with hedge fund managers and investors who were quietly studying the cracks in the current system. Bermuda has emerged as one of the world’s most forward-thinking jurisdictions for fintech, crypto, and insurance. It’s stable, well-regulated, and globally connected—everything you need to build serious infrastructure.
Yesterday, those same hedge fund managers told me something remarkable: the entire C-suite team of a major Toronto-based Hedge Fund is helping us setup in Bermuda. They didn’t just want to move—they wanted to back Ndeipi.
So yes, I poached the entire hedge fund team. This isn’t just a talent move; it’s a power move. We’re building a dream team with decades of experience in high finance, insurance, and crypto—all working to create a system designed for African growth.
Laying the Foundations for Africa’s Financial Future
With Bermuda as our launchpad, we’re rolling out:
- Banking infrastructure that can move money faster, cheaper, and across borders.
- Insurance products designed for African realities, not Western templates.
- A regulated crypto exchange built to bring trust and liquidity to tokenized real-world assets.
This is just the first step. Once Bermuda is operational, the next move is South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe and from there, a network of nodes across the continent.
Be Part of This Moment
Big things are happening, but this isn’t about me—it’s about us. Every person reading this is instrumental to this plan. We’re building the scaffolding of a new African economy, one that keeps wealth circulating in African hands, but built with global best practices.
As I always say: we must be the change we want to see. Nobody’s coming to rescue us. But we’ve never been in a stronger position to rescue ourselves.
The Ndeipi Foundation in Bermuda is more than a headquarters. It’s the first domino. Watch it fall, and watch what we build next.
